Terms and conditions for using our pumpkin decorating services

Service Area

We primarily serve properties in Utah County. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis with additional delivery fees. Contact us at [email protected] to inquire about service to areas outside Utah County.

Booking Requirements

  • Advance Notice: Services must be booked at least 1-2 weeks in advance to ensure availability
  • Booking Season: Bookings open September 15th and continue through Halloween or until packages sell out
  • Confirmation: All bookings must be confirmed with full payment to secure your reservation
  • Scheduling: Service dates and times are subject to availability and weather conditions

Weather Policy

Our weather policy ensures the best service while protecting both our team and your property:

  • Light Rain: Services proceed as scheduled - pumpkins are naturally weather-resistant
  • Heavy Storms: Services may be rescheduled at no additional cost to you
  • Severe Weather: Safety is our priority - we will reschedule and notify you as soon as possible
  • Rescheduling: Weather-related rescheduling is always free and based on mutual availability

Property Access & Preparation

To ensure smooth service delivery, you are responsible for:

  • Providing clear, safe access to your porch area during scheduled service time
  • Ensuring walkways and porch areas are clear of obstacles
  • Removing any existing decorations from the designated setup area
  • Being available or providing access instructions if you won't be home
  • Securing pets during our service visit

Product Information & Care

Pumpkin Longevity

Pumpkins are natural products that typically last 4-8 weeks depending on weather conditions. To extend life, keep pumpkins out of direct sun and bring inside during early freeze warnings.

Natural Product Disclaimer

You acknowledge that pumpkins are natural products that may attract wildlife or insects. This is normal and part of the natural decomposition process.

Fresh Guarantee

All pumpkins are sourced directly from Gordon's Family Farm for maximum freshness and are delivered within days of harvest.

Liability & Insurance

While we take great care in handling your property and providing our services:

  • We carry general liability insurance for our business operations
  • You acknowledge the natural characteristics of pumpkins as described above
  • We are not responsible for damage caused by natural weather, wildlife, or normal decomposition
  • Any concerns about our service should be reported within 24 hours of delivery

Service Modifications

We strive to accommodate your needs while maintaining service quality:

  • Add-ons: Additional services can be added up to 48 hours before your scheduled service, subject to availability
  • Package Changes: Package modifications may be possible up to 7 days before service, subject to availability
  • Special Requests: Custom arrangements and special requests are welcome - contact us to discuss options

Legal Compliance

The Pumpkin Genie operates as a seasonal service business in Utah County under Utah State guidelines. These terms are governed by Utah state law. Any disputes will be resolved through good faith discussion, and if necessary, through Utah state courts.
